01Privacy officer

Under Québec's Law 25, the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Jov's Inc. is Franck Donald Tchatcho Kemajou. You can reach them at contact@jovs.ca.

02What we collect

We only collect what you voluntarily send us through the "Start a project" form:

• Full name and email address
• Company name and phone number (optional)
• Project type, estimated budget, and timeline
• Your project description

We also retain the IP address and browser used at the time of submission, for security and to prevent automated abuse.

03Why we collect it

• To answer your request and assess your project
• To send you a confirmation of receipt
• To follow up commercially on your request

We do not use your information for profiling, targeted advertising, or resale, and we never add you to a newsletter without your explicit consent.

04Where your information is stored — outside Québec

Our servers are operated by Contabo GmbH and located in Lauterbourg, France. Your information is therefore stored outside Québec, within the European Union.

France is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a regime recognised as offering equivalent protection. As required by Law 25, we carried out a privacy impact assessment before entrusting this storage, and a written agreement governs our relationship with the host. Emails transit through our mail provider, Zoho.

05How long we keep it

We keep project requests for three (3) years from the last exchange, to support commercial follow-up and meet our accounting obligations. They are deleted afterwards.

06Your rights

You may ask us at any time to:

• Access the information we hold about you
• Correct it if it is inaccurate
• Delete it
• Withdraw your consent to its use

Write to contact@jovs.ca. We respond within 30 days, as required by Law 25. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

07Cookies

This site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking. A single technical cookie is set: it remembers your language choice so the site reopens in the right language. It contains no personal information.

08Privacy incidents

In the event of an incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information, and record the incident in our register, as required by Law 25.

09Changes

Any change to this policy will be published on this page with a new effective date.
